2006.10.07 : The 2006 season is almost finished, but this does not mean that the crew will soon be at rest. The winter refit has now been decided, so the program for the months of November and December will be:

• Installation of individual air-conditioning units in each suite, this will allow passengers to control room temperatures for their preferences.
• The bathroom of the Royal suite is to be completly refitted with new tiling, bath, shower, hand basins and other items. Photos to come...

• Installation of a flat screen HD TV and DVD Player in each suite, just to add another special touch.

2006.05.06 : The canal authorities have declared that there will be no water shortages this year, so the barge can continue with it's complete program for this season.

2006.02.26 : The barge gets the authorization to leave the port and heads down stream, 21 locks to go before arriving at the dry dock. The temperature is -4°C...

2006.02.01 : Captain Max gets the engine and barge ready to cruise down the canal to Saint Jean de Losne. The barge will be going into Atelier Fluvial for maintenance on the hull. This will include cleaning, minor repairs from the wear and tear of last season and a testing of the hull. At the end of the session in the dry dock, the Navigation Bureau from Lyon will inspector the work and validate the navigation permit.

2005.10.31 : La Reine Pedauque finishes the season in grand style. The crew prepare the barge for the winter which will be in the port of Dijon.
